My name is Collins Nwonu, the founder and sole writer at examinerng.com.
I am a final year student of the department of educational foundations in the faculty of education, Enugu state University of science and technology (ESUT).
My educational and professional background in the field of education provides me with an excellent grasp of learning theories, the behavior of students, and how the brain processes information. This experience qualifies me to teach anybody who goes through this site on exam psychology, exam techniques and real study systems that have proven to work.
I didn’t create Examiner because I was a “naturally brilliant” student. I did it because I had difficulties, tried, failed at some study techniques, tried better and finally found out what indeed makes exams easier to deal with. All the information here is constructed out of individual experience, experimental testing, and evidence-based learning science.
With time I became obsessed with exam psychology, why students procrastinate, why anxiety ruins performance and why most students fail yet they study hard. I experimented with myself: I got out of bed at 5 AM every 21 days, I stopped multitasking, I learned not to be afraid of exams, and I learned to study even when I felt no motivation at all.
In addition to psychology, I pay attention to effective methods of studying. I have tested active recall and rereading over 14 days, practiced Pomodoro Technique in exam preparation, tested spaced repetition over 30 days, mastered the blurting technique and practised past questions daily to see how effective they are.
I also deconstruct exam formats, memorize massive amounts of information without cramming and train to write essays and to take multiple choice exams.
I believe that passing exams shouldn’t really be about how often you read but how you read. It has to do with the correct system to use.
It is my mission to assist you in clearing your anxiety, confusion, and average performance in favor of clarity, strategy, and mastery.
Welcome to Examiner. We will master exams, the correct way.
