Comments
We gather the information you enter into the form when you leave a comment along with your IP address and your browser user agent. Such information assists us to identify spam and guard the site.
In case we submit your profile picture to the Gravatar service, we post an anonymized copy (a hash) of your e-mail address. Gravatar has the following privacy policy: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once your comment has been approved then your profile image can appear publicly with it.
We promote respectful deep discussions. We however, have the right to moderate, edit or delete such a comment that is abusive and misleading or a promotion or in any other way, inappropriate.
Media
In case you post pictures on the site, do not place any embedded location information (EXIF GPS). Viewers are allowed to save pictures on the site and can extract any GPS data they have easily embedded on the site. Personal, sensitive information that you volunteer to add to images or other media files is not our responsibility. Please make sure that you do not violate privacy and copyright laws in everything that you post.

How Long We Retain Your Data
The metadata and comments are stored permanently. This will enable us to acknowledge and automatically accept follow up comments without necessarily retaining them to be moderated.
When you sign up on the site we save all the personal details that you have entered in your profile. This information (except your username) can be viewed, edited or deleted anytime. Information can also be viewed and edited by the site administrators to help them with administration.
What Rights You Have Over Your Data
You may also ask us to provide you with an export of the personal data that we have about you in an exported file, should you also have an account or have made comments. You may also request us to erase your personal data with the exception of information we are required to retain due to administrative, legal, security, etc. As part of the exercise of these rights, we require you to reach us with your information given on our site.
